Description

Cellar Door Games was founded by Kenny and Teddy Lee in 2009. Based in Toronto, Ontario the two brothers have been making games together forever. Sometimes they get lucky and make a semi-popular game like Rogue Legacy. Other times, it's just a purple dude shitting himself.

History

Early History

Cellar Door Games started off making small flash games for free on the internet. The mild success of their first game 'Don't Shit Your Pants' got to their heads, and they jumped headlong into console development with 'Band of Bears'. One rushed submission to the Microsoft XNA DreamBuildPlay 2009 competition later, and CDG was able to land a top 20 finish, concreting themselves as nobodies. With newfound drive CDG then decided to tackle the iOS market. With the release of 'Tribal Tallies' and 'Q' CDG was able to amass a total of 10 sales, giving them the confidence to disband... FOREVER. After a hiatus, the two brothers decided to reform the company and make tiny flash games again. Thankfully they became sort of popular. If you've ever played 'I Have One Day', or 'Villainous', or 'MFQT' or 'Bullet Audyssey', then we like you :) After accruing enough debt, Cellar Door Games began development of their first commercial product, 'Rogue Legacy'. Kinda boring after this.
